The front door closes and DJ carefully checks that they have in fact gone, listening for the sound of the car,

At Llwyncelyn, Mathew has sent Izzy another text, and she tells her mother, “That’s the third message this morning.” Gaynor urges her to answer him, as he obviously regrets what he has done.

“He should be on his knees, begging me to come home, then!” Izzy snarls,

but her mother predicts that he will not do that, as he is a man.

“Mathew’s different,” Izzy insists, something about which Gaynor is rather sceptical; “Don’t compare me and Mathew with you and Hywel,” she complains,

“We understand each other – perhaps we have argued, but we’re honest with each other. That’s the basis of a relationship – you should try it – you haven’t been honest with Hywel.”

He reports that Seren’s cry-baby has run out of batteries; “And now she’s crying her eyes out! We had to look after the children without warning – Dani phoned Britt to ask if we’d look after them for a few days.

Mathew charges him £4.90 and wonders if Danny said where she was going, but apparently she did not say a word. Colin heard that Izzy spent the night at Llwyncelyn, and asks if everything is alright with them;

As Jaclyn does the washing-up, she frets, “If only she’d get in touch to say she’s all right.” Gerwyn thinks that they should phone the police to report that she has gone missing; Jaclyn reminds him that she is an adult, but he complains that she is not coming up with any ideas.

“Guto’s not here to help – he’s just worried about Spanish lessons!” Gerwyn continues, “I don’t think he cares whether Tesni comes home or not.”

“Her leaving isn’t his fault,” Jaclyn snarls, “You threatened to throw Aled out, and she blamed herself – that’s what Guto said. I didn’t want you to quarrel with him, in case he left too. “You must have seen the messages that are sending to everyone,” he says, but she had forgotten her phone charger.
He assures her that she does not get on his nerves; “Yeah – that’s why you went off with Izzy!” she comments, sarcastically. “Have you fallen out with her? Sorry, I couldn’t help overhearing.”

“You really like her, don’t you?” Tesni smiles, and he reluctantly concedes that he does.

As expected, Izzy is only too pleased to have that amount of money and thanks her mother; “Right, I’m going to look at flights and sort some clothes out!” she says, as she hurries from the room, “With £10,000 in the bank, I can do whatever I like!”

Mark is very surprised to hear this; “You said you thought the world of her – and it you’ve kept your word.

“Does Sioned know?” DJ replies that she is not aware of his plan at the moment.
“I’m sorry about the way I talked to you on your stag night,” Mark apologises, “I accused you of using Non and obviously I was wrong. Fair play to you for giving her a second chance after she left you before.”

She comes up with the tale of having some money saved up, and will find some work as she goes. He wonders if she wants to borrow some money, but she refuses his offer.
“Look, I’m sorry I haven’t been there for you over the last few months,” he says, but she is convinced that she is doing the right thing.

“If you end up in India, perhaps I’ll join you,” he suggests, “Do a course in an ashram somewhere.” Izzy is going to miss him, and he looks as if he is going to hug her,

Her expression changes, and she demands what is scaring him; “I’m scared things will go wrong between us – that you’ll leave me,” he answers, but she tries to assure him that she is not going to leave him.

She does not like being regarded as someone who changes their mind every second – that she does not mean it when she says she loves him, and is becoming angry. “I thought we wanted the same thing! Do you want to be safe with Sioned, instead of taking a risk with me?”
