“Sara will have spoiled Ifan rotten, so it’s only fair that we should do the same,” he says.

Kelly predicts, “Ifan’s going to get the biggest cwtch ever!” and Jason alleges that it is only fair that the child should spend an entire week with him now, to even things up. ‘I don’t think Sara is going to agree to that,” is Kelly’s considered opinion.

“Well, I’ll have to go for full custody, then,” he tells her, “I know that Dylan’s dodgy – we know he’s had an affair – DJ told us as much.” Kelly regards it as a pity that DJ is now out of action,

In the shop flat, Mathew tells Eifion that he does not have time for another cup of tea; “You must get back to work – you’re a builder now, not a farmer!”

Eifion protests that they are family, but is told that there are no favours between 8:30am and 7:00pm.

“New working hours starting tomorrow.”
This does not go down well with Eifion; “You’ve only just started running the show and you’re cracking the whip already,” he moans. Mathew is keen to make an impression on customers by working extra hard, pointing out that is how they are going to be successful.

Jason has gone to Hywel’s house, but discovers that Dylan is not there; “What do you mean, he's not here? I’ve taken the afternoon off to speak to him.”

“You can pick up Ifan later and he can stay with you a few nights,” Sara concedes; Jason is adamant that Ifan should stay with him for the rest of the week. “I’m only back two seconds, and you’re being awkward already!” Sara complains, but Jason is unmoved,

Up in the café flat, Kelly is pacing up and down, waiting for the arrival of Anita;

when she comes upstairs, Kelly exclaims, “The café’s hygiene score has gone down from five to three! To three!” Luned wonders if anyone takes any notice of it, anyway.

“Yes – the customers!” Kelly bellows, “I don’t want people to think I’m running a ‘greasy pan’!”

She points out the letter to Anita, who reads it. “It says member of staff was not handling chicken safely –

Luned admits that it must have been her, and is very sorry, explaining that she was stressed.

Sara has also received a letter, and when Dylan comes downstairs he is pleased that Ifan is going to be looked after by his father.

Then she opens the letter, and explodes, “It’s from Jason’s solicitor – saying that he wants full custody of Ifan!”

Dylan asks if that surprises her, and she goes on, “If I refuse, we’ll have to have a session with a mediator – what’s wrong with him? We could sort this out – me and him. It doesn’t have to go through court!”

In the Deri, Tyler tells Iolo that he cannot pick up Greta; “Why can’t you pick her up?” he demands,

but Iolo has an emergency job. “Well, get her to stay at nursery for longer,” is Tyler’s answer.

Meanwhile, Aled and Tesni are sitting, drinking;

Tesni’s bad mood continues; “I’m still gutted about Lisa,” she groans, and Aled dismisses this as merely her first rejection, emphasising that they cannot have everything they want in life.

Creeping in through the back door of Hywel’s house, which has evidently been left unlocked again, comes Jason, and he wipes the doorhandle clean of any fingerprints.

He looks in a couple of drawers, and in the top one he finds something interesting;

Dylan wishes him good luck, warning that if he finds Jason has broken into his home again, he will go to the police.
Predictably, Jason is not happy about this, as Dylan picks up his belongings and leaves the flat.

Tyler wonders how he could just drive off, and is told, “I panicked – I thought I’d killed him.”
Tyler points out that he could well have done; “I haven't made a mistake telling you, have I?” Aled frets, “Tyler, say something!”
