“Dad overreacted, as usual,” she moans, and he says that Tyler is scared to come out. Tesni cannot stand much more of this, but he has been thinking of a solution.

He says that if she will not answer the phone, he has no choice but to come there; “Gaynor, I really regret what I’ve done – I’ll do anything to save this relationship,” he pleads,

but she has heard all this before. He volunteers, “I’ll go and talk to someone.”
“Yes, that’s a good idea – go and see someone, because you’re good at talking, Hywel!” she sneers.

but she cannot be bothered to go over all this again, and tells him to go away.

“We have things to sort out – we’re going to Croatia,” he points out;

she remarks that he should have thought about that, and just wants to be rid of him. She walks out of the room and goes upstairs,

Round the back of APD, Mathew is counting bags of cement, but Jason shouts at him to take them inside before people help themselves. Then Dylan comes round the corner;

“What does he want now?” Jason growls, and Mathew suggests that he may want building materials.

“And you’re right,” Dylan tells them, “To be honest, I want to buy the job lot.” Mathew cannot believe that he wants to buy APD, and Dylan describes it as, “A successful business in a good location – why wouldn’t I want it?

“I know it’s awkward, Jason – I’m about to marry your ex – but there’s no place for emotion in business.”

Jason has him sussed out; “Did Sara send you down here to do some fishing? To see how much money she can fleece me for in the divorce? I’ll tell you what – I’ll fetch the books now – how would that suit you?”

“Do you really think I’d go to such trouble, and put on a show just to get the business’s books?” Dylan demands,

and Jason knows without any hesitation the answer to that – yes.

“Perhaps I should buy that shop in Llanarthur instead, then!” says Dylan in mock outrage, and walks away. Jason is pleased to see the back of him.

Colin comes out of the shop, whistling cheerily, as Gaynor strides out of the alley; he asks, “Have you heard about Tyler, then? He was thrown out on to the street after being caught at number 10 with his new boyfriend!”

Gaynor does not care, as she has not had her coffee, because there was no milk at home.

Colin is not satisfied with this explanation; “Whoa, now – this is more than just a lack of caffeine,” he tells her, and at that moment, Lisa passes them.

“Well, you’ve got a nerve!” Gaynor exclaims, “I know what you’ve been doing!”

Lisa is pleased to hear it, maintaining that it is important to be open in a healthy relationship.

Colin is taking an interest in this conversation as it continues; “You’re right, Lisa, and Hywel has told me everything. You know what – he regrets wasting his money on a slapper like you!”
“That’s what they all say when they get caught,” comments Lisa, smiling.
Gaynor warns her, “Staying out of my way would be best for you!”

“I’ve got an appointment at Tomos ac Ellis, once I get back from Croatia,” Gaynor continues, and Sara hopes that she enjoys her holiday.

By now Hywel has come back into the house and asks, “So you are going, then, are you?” Gaynor intends to book a hotel near the airport for tonight, and will be leaving this afternoon.

Then Dylan goes on, more seriously, “The business is for sale, isn’t it?” DJ is quite convinced that they would not sell to him, but he is told that he is wrong; “Dai and Diane are desperate to retire, and thanks to Jason, they have lost a sale.”
