![]() |
"He owns Tapas, not a drug empire!" |
Tesni points out that he owns Tapas, not a drug empire. Then he reveals, “My Mam was a drug dealer – so how do we know it wasn’t Dad who got her into it? Perhaps it’s connected.”
She is quite adamant that it cannot be true; “And Mam will say exactly the same thing!” Aled does not know what to believe, but Tesni is quite convinced,

"None of that is true, OK?" |
“None of that is true, OK? Drug dealer!” she sneers, dismissively.

![]() |
"Unless you want him back?" |
“Unless you want him back – is that why you haven’t told anyone?” Anita makes it very clear that is not what she wants; she thought she could trust Ffion, but was evidently wrong.

“I can’t understand why it is so sudden – and to Mid-Wales?” Cassie adds, “There’s nothing there for you and little Ifan.” Sara says it pays better than working in the Deri.

Siôn returns to Y Felin, with a headache; Anita wants to know, “Did you happen to see Cassie or Ffion while I was away? It’s just that I told Ffion about you and me – that we’re not together any more. She’s told Cassie, who has probably told everyone in the Deri.”
![]() |
"So?" |
Siôn wonders what she is concerned about it;
![]() |

she is obviously offended, as usual.
![]() |
"I thought I'd managed to get over it" |
“I really thought I’d finally managed to get over it,” Mathew tells Izzy; she points out it is only natural that finding out who did it to him makes the feelings resurface.
![]() |
"I'm just angry, you know?" |
“I’m just angry, you know – how many times have I seen Dylan? He has never apologised for what happened – and he knew the truth!
“You know, he was there that night, looking after me, – you’d think that finding out would be a relief, but I feel worse now than I did before!”
![]() |
"At least, now we know the truth" |
She points out that at least they know the truth.
"All I want to do is punish the swine!"
All Mathew wants to do now is to punish the swine who did this to him – “But he’s not here, is he?”
"We were supposed to finish the jigsaw"
Outside number 9, the luggage is being packed into the taxi, and Jason says that Ifan wants to take a couple of extra items. “I’ve packed the jigsaw – we were supposed to finish it by the end of the week, but you can do it with him now.

He asks if she is sure, and she assures him, “I’m not going to punish you for this mess – but I want you to make sure that he comes to no harm.
"Tell him every day that Mami loves him"
“And I want you to tell him every day that Mami loves him more than the whole world. I’ll be back at some point – I don’t know when – when it’s safe.”
Jason promises they will have to do Zoom and FaceTime every night. “Sara, I’ll make sure he knows this wasn’t your choice, OK?”
Sara turns to Ifan, who is looking through the window;
“Mami loves you,” she says, through her tears,
then gets into the taxi
. . . which leaves the village
and leaves the village.
