and Sioned is extremely relieved. “I told you, didn’t I? She’ll end up telling the doctors how to do their job. We can go and see her now, if you like.”

Sioned says that they can drop Huwi off with Elinor, and as she calls for him,

DJ’s phone rings;

As they sit on the stairs in Y Felin, Dani demands, “What are we supposed to do now? Phone the undertaker or something?”

Iolo predicts that the police might want to keep Tyler’s body for now.
“I don’t like to think of him on his own,” she continues,

"Things were really improving" |
but Iolo points out that he was happy at the end and things were improving for them – really improving.

“I asked him to pick Greta up after the wedding – you should have seen his face. We should have sorted things out sooner – we wasted months when we could have been together. And now I’ll never get him back.”

Mathew is fiddling with his phone in the shop flat when Siôn comes in, as Mathew wanted to see him.

“Siôn, I’m so sorry to hassle you like this – I know you’ve got a lot going on at home, but I’m really worried about Tesni. She didn’t come home last night and she’s not answering her phone.

Cassie hasn’t seen her either and I’ve looked everywhere.”
Siôn urges him to calm down, and will help him look for Tesni;

“Are you sure? Don’t you want to be with Greta and Iolo?” asks Mathew,

but Siôn does not want to suffocate them. They leave the flat to continue with the search.

Britt is hanging washing on the clothes airer and looking very upset when the back door opens

and Colin says, “I’ll have a coffee when you're ready.” She is overjoyed to see him and rushes to hug him,

which causes some discomfort; she did not think he was coming out of hospital until tomorrow.

Britt groans that she has had enough surprises for one day; “Garry’s been arrested,” she tells him.

Iolo insists that Dani does not have to go, but she explains that she has to go to the hospital,

and he needs to talk to Greta, something which he is not looking forward to.

“She seems so happy playing school with her teddies – once I tell her, everything will change.”
Dani agrees that it will, but that they do not have a choice;

She gives Iolo another hug and then her phone sounds;

she says it is not the hospital, but does not reveal who the caller is.

Iolo looks anxiously upstairs.

Eileen is asleep |
Eileen, who is looking somewhat battered, is lying in her hospital bed, with Sioned at the bedside.

“Do you think she can hear me?” Sioned asks DJ, who is looking at his phone,

then takes her mother’s hand and says, “You’re going to be all right, Mam. You’ve been in an accident, but you’re OK.”

DJ adds, “You were in a fight with a minibus, and you won,” which Sioned regards as being unnecessarily flippant.

Eileen looks around |
Eileen gradually opens her eyes and looks around her nervously.
“It’s all right, I’m here – don’t try to speak,” Sioned tells her, “I’m here and DJ is here, too. I’m so sorry, Mam, but we’re here now, OK?

DJ finds this rather disconcerting.

Gaynor has another phone call |
Gaynor is packing a bag at Llwyncelyn when her phone sounds again; she looks at it, and then answers, but as usual there is no voice at the other end.

“Why are you doing this? Would you please just say something?”

Now she is exceedingly nervous |
Then there is a knock at the door, so she puts down the phone and very gingerly goes to see who is there.

It is Hywel, who complains that he did not have a key,

but is reminded that he should be in hospital until tomorrow.

After searching, Mathew and Siôn meet in the High Street, but have not managed to find Tesni; they see DI Fielding and another officer passing,

so Siôn calls to them. “We think that a person is missing,” he says,

so the DI recommends that he goes to the police station to report it.

“I might as well tell you now – Tesni Parri, 21 years old, brown hair,” Siôn continues, and the DI confirms that they have been in contact with her.

She cannot disclose the details, but assures them that she is safe. Siôn and Mathew look at each other.

Gaynor contacts the police once again; “I’ve phoned you before about these anonymous calls – the thing is, I’m still getting them.

"I'll bring the phone to the station" |
Hywel comes back into the room as she goes on, “Right, so I’ll bring the phone to the station later,” but before she can say anything else, he grabs the phone and abruptly terminates the call.

Hywel demands what she is doing; “You can’t give it to the police – because they’ll see that you phoned me! I picked it up while driving – that’s illegal –

Gaynor stresses that she has to find out who is phoning,

Cassie brings over a cup of coffee to Jinx in the Deri, and he asks how Dani is;

“As well as can be expected,” is the reply.

“Is it true, then?” he goes on, “That Garry killed someone?”

Mathew has just walked in and answers that question, “No, it’s not! I’ve just spoken to Tesni. It was Dylan’s body in the garage.” Jinx was unaware that Dylan was back, and wonders who did it.

Mathew announces, “Gwyneth – and she killed Jaclyn, too!”

Cassie cannot understand how Tesni knows this. “Gwyneth told her,” says Mathew, “You can’t see her, as she is staying with Rhys – she can’t face the village.”
Jinx is looking extremely shocked by this;

he gets up and demands that Mathew hand over his phone.

In the police station a plainclothes officer admits Dani to the interview room, where Garry is waiting.

Garry weeps |
Garry breaks down in tears.

Garry confesses that he has told the police everything; she shakes her head and sighs that he did not say anything to her.

She walks towards the table; “Gabriel’s father? Do you have any idea how sick I was when I heard what you’d done?

I’m not a murderer, Dan – I’ve pleaded guilty to kidnapping, but I didn’t kill him,” Garry argues.

Garry cannot believe it.

Sioned has packed some items to take to her mother, and DJ begins, “Now that we know she’s all right, we can start looking at sailing times.”

She says that she cannot discuss it now, as she wants to get back to her mother. “We can’t get the money back for the sailing last night,” he continues, “But worse things happen at sea.”

Sioned tells him, “Listen while you were down in the canteen I had a word with the consultant – she’s going to be in for a couple of weeks at least. They want to keep an eye on the bleed on her brain.”

DJ remarks that two weeks is not too long, and he is sure that they can make arrangements.
“No – she needs an operation as well – she’s broken her leg,” Sioned explains,

"I don't want us to be apart for that long" |
DJ does not want to be apart for that long, and she says, “That’s what I’m trying to tell you –

“I don’t think we can move to Ireland after all. I’m going back to Mam.”

"We have to talk about this" |
DJ insists that they have to talk about this, but Sioned insists, “We don’t have any choice, do we? I know you’re disappointed – I am too – but we have to be here!” She rushes out of the farmhouse.

At Y Felin, Greta is playing happily with her winged unicorn, while Iolo is trying to pluck up the courage to tell her.

Iolo haltingly explains that the thing is . . . Dadi is busy today,

so she asks, “Tomorrow, perhaps?” and he agrees that perhaps they will do it tomorrow.

Hywel is sitting miserably on the stairs; he hands the phone back to Gaynor and apologises.

“I don’t like seeing you like this – you and I should be sticking together – will you delete the call history?” She refuses to do this,

and he shouts, “I can’t go to prison! Esther needs me – you need me.”
She replies that she cannot carry on like this,

and he, in a state of panic, suggests, “What if you tell the police that you spoke to Tyler? Don’t say anything about me.”

She agrees to this, but wonders if anyone else on the bus saw him – then she would be in trouble for lying.

Hywel realises that Eileen was sitting behind him; “And while everyone else was singing . . .”

“I can’t live like this – I feel sick every time my phone rings – and what if it gets worse? What if scaring me isn’t enough?”

Hywel assures her that he wants to keep her safe, so she challenges him to do something about it. She is going to check on Esther;

meanwhile Hywel decides what he is going to do, picks up his coat and leaves the house.
At Penrhewl, DJ’s phone rings;

“just leave it with me,” he says, “I’ll be there, I promise.”

Now Iolo is sitting alone on the sofa, looking at the unicorn, when his father returns home

"How did it go with Greta?" |
and asks how it went with Greta.

"She didn't say a lot" |
“She didn’t say a lot and didn’t have any questions –

"She just needs time" |
“she just needs time,” says Iolo.

"I'm so proud of you, Iolo" |
“That’s the hardest thing any parent can do,” Siôn appreciates, “I know that from experience – but you’re stronger than you think. I’m so proud of you.”

Dani had been under the impression that someone had hurt him; “I wasn’t expecting you to be hiding a body in there.”

"She's still having the last laugh" |
He wonders how he managed to let Gwyneth win, and comments that, even after she has gone, she is still having the last laugh.

"Is there something wrong with you?" |
“The last laugh? Is there something wrong with you?” Dani snarls,

and Garry takes her hand,

"I'm sorry, Dan – for everything" |
confessing that he is sorry for everything.

He holds her close and they kiss.

She admits that she loves him,

then pulls her hand from his grasp and knocks on the door to be let out.

The DI opens it and Garry winks at Dani as she goes;
