![]() |
. . . involving Gaynor and Hywel |
![]() |
"I'm banning anyone who watches that in here!" |
![]() |
"My programme was hijacked by people complaining about you!" |
![]() |
"Parents have also been complaining!" |
![]() |
"Are you going to ban him from the board of governors?" |
“No wonder people aren’t interested in your football club,” remarks Hywel, but Garry has now decided to forget about the idea. Gaynor orders two Riojas, and is charged £8.50.
Garry asks if they have heard about Anita being arrested, and Gaynor wonders what is happening to everyone.

"Have you heard about Anita being arrested?" |

Jaclyn has just arived home from hospital . . . |
![]() |
. . . and is complimentary about the 'welcome home' banner |
![]() |
"I understand you're the best mechanic round here" |
![]() |
"I've left the car by the garage – can you take a look at it?" |
![]() |
"It's like a circus down there, Kelly!" |
![]() |
"It would help if you started your shift on time!" |
“You’ll have to cope without me, because I have to go somewhere,” Kelly informs her,
and when asked where she is going, rather abruptly adds “Mind your own!”
![]() |
"Where are you going?" |
![]() |
She opens the box . . . |
![]() |
. . . and takes out a special teddy bear |
![]() |
Angharad comes into the Deri |
![]() |
"I have nowhere else to go" |
![]() |
"You wouldn't want him as a chambermaid!" |
Then Angharad notices Gaynor and Hywel sitting at a table, playing Scrabble;
when she approaches, Gaynor is dismayed to see her.

"I'm angry with myself for hurting Gwern" |
![]() |

![]() |
This does not please Jaclyn |
![]() |
"There's a fair bit of making up to do" |
![]() |
"I don't think there will be any of that for a while" |
![]() |
"We could try to find Mai" |
![]() |
"Just leave it, Garry!" |
![]() |
Kelly is in a very tearful state |
![]() |
"Are you sure you're doing the right thing?" |
![]() |
"I know I've had plenty of time to prepare" |
![]() |
"It's lovely, Kelly!" |
![]() |
"Can I see him, please?" |
![]() |
Paul is wide awake . . . |
![]() |
. . . and seems to be a very happy baby |
![]() |
"I hardly recognise him" |
![]() |
"You've changed so much" |
![]() |
"Does Anita know he's going today?" |
![]() |
The officials come to take Paul away |
![]() |
Jaclyn looks at her various tablets |
![]() |
"I wasn't sure I'd see you here again" |
![]() |
Dylan arrives . . . |
![]() |
. . . with an ostentatious bouquet of flowers |
Gerwyn says he has to pop out to the garage, so Dylan can have all her attention; “And make sure he doesn’t eat all the cakes!” he adds.
Brenda will make them a fresh cup of tea, and points out, “It’s important that you two have a chance to talk – sort out that silly row you had before Christmas. It’s not nice to see a brother and sister fall out. Dylan and Jaclyn look at each other, suspiciously.
![]() |
"I'll make a fresh pot of tea" |
![]() |
"You can finish your shift early" |
![]() |
"Have you got the names or addresses of Mai's friends?" |
![]() |
"Look, I don't want to talk about it!" |
He assures her that there is no need to feel embarrassed because she has lost contact, and he will not take any notice of her warnings to leave it.
![]() |
"I've phoned a private detective" |
![]() |
"Well, you can cancel him!" |
![]() |

"If you want to go to the police, I won't stop you . . ." |
![]() |
". . . but you know what would happen to us!" |
She makes it very clear that she does not care what happens to her;
“And I care even less about what happens to you! But I’m not going to let Ger and the children suffer!”
![]() |
"I'm not going to let Ger and the children suffer!" |
![]() |
"You're doing the right thing, Jacs" |
![]() |

![]() |
"I shall only be here for one night" |
![]() |
"I've moved into a flat in Swansea" |
Angharad says she is still hopeful she can ‘relight the fire’, and suggests that she could cook dinner,
but Gaynor does not accept her offer, assuming that she has had a tough day. When she goes upstairs to prepare the guest room,
Angharad snoops through a few drawers,
locating Gaynor’s financial paperwork;
she smiles.

"No – you must have had a tough day" |

"Dylan's been supplying drugs round here!" |
![]() |
"You're serious, aren't you?" |
![]() |
"I thought he had put a stop to it!" |
![]() |
"And you've kept all this from me!" |
![]() |
"I intended to go to the police on New Year's Eve" |
