Hywel leaves them to it |
Hywel receives a message on his phone as Kath goes on, “I expect you were talking nonsense with him!” In response to the message, Hywel walks away;

Kath wants to know what they were talking about, so Cassie suggest that they had better have a word.
“I’d love to have a chat with you – but it’s like a circus in here,” replies Kath,

“Perhaps you could clear these tables, if it’s not too much trouble.”

Hywel goes to get flowers |
Hywel has gone across to the shop, where he selects a bunch of flowers, just as Mark comes out and suggests,

"Buying forgiveness, are you?" |
“Buying forgiveness, are you?” Hywel explains that it is just something to welcome Ffion home to Deri Fawr; he has just heard that she is leaving hospital today.

Jinx comes downstairs at Deri Fawr with some washing and warns Arwen, “Hey, you can’t be on your phone all day, you know. You’re supposed to be helping me to tidy up.”

She simply says that she will do it later, but he wants it done now. She points out that she cannot; she is going out to see Ethan.

"You do remember your mother's coming home?" |
“You do remember that your mother is coming home this afternoon?” he growls

"That's why I have to go now" |
and she says that is why she has to go now.

"I'll talk to your mother – on one condition" |
He promises, “I’ll talk to your mother about Ethan coming over – on one condition – that you stay and tidy up!

“Start by clearing up that mess.”

"A little present from the council" |
Then Hywel arrives with his flowers and a welcome home card; “A little present from the council to wish Ffion well.” Jinx is surprised that the council has money to spend on flowers.
“How is she?” Hywel enquires and Jinx replies that she is still confused and frightened, but he hopes that coming home will be a big help.

“If there’s anything I can do, just ask,” says Hywel.

"Yes, actually – to help clean up" |
Arwen quickly answers, “Yes, actually – help to clean up – here you go!” as she thrusts some cleaning materials into his hand.

Kelly looks at the letter |
Kelly is sitting in the Deri and takes another look at that letter;

"Where has this 'circus' gone, then?" |
Cassie asks Kath where the ‘circus’ has gone, to which she was referring.

"I haven't stopped, have I, Kelly?' |
Kath protests, “I haven’t stopped, have I, Kelly?” but Kelly has her mind on other things.

"Listen, Kath, we have to talk" |
“Listen, Kath, we have to talk – I know you’re angry that I disappeared and I am at fault for that, but we’re both adults.”

"Get to the point, then" |
Kath is anxious that she should get to the point. “I haven’t been completely honest with you recently, about where I’ve been going and with whom.”

"You've been taking to Brynmor!" |
Kath immediately jumps to the conclusion that she has been talking to Brynmor;

“No – Hywel.”

"Since when?" |
Kath gasps, “Hywel Llywelyn? Since when?” Cassie explains that it started when she moved in after the explosion and since then things have not been easy.

“You’ve been going through the divorce and then there was this business with Mark,” she goes on, “And I didn’t want to hurt you.”

'I don't need anyone too hold my hand" |
Kath is adamant that she does not need anyone to hold her hand or to feel sorry for her.

"OJ and lemonade, please" |
Kelly brings her empty glass back to the bar and Kath asks how things are with Auntie Anita; she replies that they are good and orders, “OJ and lemonade, please,” as she looks at her phone.

"I've been told to wait here" |
Siôn returns to where Iolo is waiting with his arm in a sling and informs him, “I’ve been told to wait out here.” Iolo is sure that the doctor said more than that,

"I need an x-ray on my wrist" |
so it is explained that the scan on Siôn’s head was clear, but he needs an x-ray on his wrist.

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier" |
Siôn apologises for what he said earlier; “No-one enjoys grief – and I’m sorry for suggesting such a thing.”

"Perhaps I did put a little bit too much pressure on you" |
Iolo acknowledges that he perhaps did put a little too much pressure on him to do the test.

“A little too much?” smiles his father.
“Are you sure you just tripped?” Iolo demands

"I tripped over the bedclothes I was carrying" |
and his father confirms that he did, over the bedclothes he was carrying.

Then his name is called and he thinks that he can manage to go through on his own.

Ffion is back home! |
Ffion, in a wheelchair, arrives back at Deri Fawr; she is welcomed home by Hywel, who has indeed been helping with the cleaning.

“What’s he doing here?” snarls Ffion. Jinx asks whether Arwen is still cleaning her room,

but Hywel replies that she had to go out and get something.

"Is she all right?" |
Ffion is anxious because Arwen is not there; “Is she all right?” Jinx tells her she will be back in a minute;

meanwhile, they can get her settled on the sofa. Hywel will leave now and says that it is lovely to see her home again.
Ffion is confused; “Does he live here now?”

Jinx reassures her, “You and Arwen live here, but I’ll stay with you for a while to make sure you’re all right.”

Then the door opens and Arwen returns, explaining that she has been to Tamed to buy Mam a cake; “I’m so glad you’re home!”

she says and Ffion gives her daughter a hug.

In the Deri, Hywel comes to find out how Cassie’s chat with Kath went; “As well as could be expected,” is the reply.

Kelly comes back from the toilet and remarks, “Oh, there they are – the lovebirds!”

Hywel is rather surprised that she knows about them, and Kelly explains that Rhys told her;

Cassie advises him that everybody knows,

She is told, “Look, sorry for not telling you earlier – and I’ve explained why – so can we move on?” Kath emphasises that if Cassie is happy, then she is happy.

She proposes that she will go away for a few days to give them both some peace, so that they do not have to worry about her; “Probably to London for a few days, to see a couple of shows – on my own! I’m not a little girl, all right?” Cassie is now in rather a quandary,

“Being in this hospital makes me realise how fragile life is – too fragile to fall out and refuse to help people – and that’s why I’m going to talk to my GP and find out about the process of donating a kidney.

Iolo is quite overwhelmed, exclaiming that Alex will be so happy,

She replies, rather unconvincingly, that she is fine.
He says that he has brought the flowers to apologise; “I know I should have gone to the police straightaway, but . . .”

Ffion jumps to the conclusion that he was the one who tried to kill her;

“No, no, no – the police will confirm my alibi soon,” but by now Ffion is very upset. Jinx comes downstairs

Jinx tries to explain that it was not Mark – and Mark promises that it was not him, so she cannot understand why the flowers and the involvement of the police.

When they arrive home at Y Felin, Iolo tells his father to sit down; “I’m going to phone Alex!” he says. Before he can do that, Siôn says he has not changed his mind,

“In case she’s disappointed like she was with me, is it?” Iolo imagines. Siôn replies that he is not being thoughtful, but is rather going to talk to the GP first to see if he can help someone in need but that does not mean he wants to have a relationship with Alex.

She is not entirely persuaded, but wonders why this has to do with the police.

Jinx takes over; “Mark attacked me on the night of the Plygain,” and she wonders why on earth he would do that. Mark says that there were several reasons – and he regrets it very much. Jinx confirms that he has forgiven Mark.

“I’ve confessed everything to the cops,” Mark goes on, “And I’m willing to accept my punishment – I’ve been suspended from work.”
Ffion is interested in how long Jinx has known all this; he replies, “I was waiting for the right time to tell you – it has been a couple of weeks.”

Hywel comes into the Deri, wanting to speak with Kath; “About that trip to London – what if I had a better offer for you? A five star hotel outside Brecon, great food, a pass for the spa and everything.”

She looks suspicious and demands what he is going on about. “I just think you and Cassie should have more fun together,” he explains.
