Next morning, Garry is sitting on the edge of the inspection pit and asks Dylan if he would like some breakfast; “Dani made too many bacon rolls,” he says. However, this might prove to be difficult, as in addition to Dylan’s rather moribund state, his hands are tied and he has a gag in his mouth.

Garry reaches down and removes the gag, but his victim makes it very clear that he does not want food;

“You can’t keep me here for ever,” he snarls.

"Just until I decide what to do with you" |
Garry does not intend to do that; “Just until I’ve decided what to do with you.” Dylan growls that if Garry wanted to kill him, he would have already done it –

but he is a coward. “It’s not too late, you know,” Garry remarks,

"Do you want some water?" |
and enquires if he wants some water, which is again refused.

“You can’t let me go because you’re in more of a hole than I am,” Dylan groans, and Garry agrees that he might well be, but that he will sort something out. “Well, do it quickly – because I need a doctor!”
Garry protests that he has patched him up, but Dylan is aware that his botched job will not save him.

Cassie comes downstairs and comments that she is up early. “The early bird catches the worm,” Gwyneth replies,

Cassie decides to stick to the yoghurt.
“I was going to ask Gwern to stay over tonight, if you don’t mind – I haven’t seen him properly since we came back,” Gwyneth adds,

Cassie will not be home until late, and Gwyneth is inquisitive about her plans.
“I was thinking about going to see Tesni, to keep her company,” is the reply. Gwyneth says she has not seen Tesni for the last few days,

and Cassie was going to ask her to move back in after she recovers, if Gwyneth is in agreement, but it appears that she is not,

maintaining that it is nice to have a bit of space in the house.
“It felt a bit crowded here for a while,” she maintains, but Cassie is feeling rather guilty,

arguing that they are the closest thing Tesni has to family and that they should look after her.

“She chose to go to Mathew,” Gwyneth points out; she is reminded that they were not there then, but now they are back.

“I got the vibes the other day that she’s had enough of us,” stresses Gwyneth, “I’m going to stay away – perhaps you should, too.”

Mark is making his breakfast and is surprised to see Tyler coming in through the back door; “Good grief – have you been out already?” Tyler explains that he had to do something this morning,

and when he thinks that Mark is not looking, he examines a vicious looking bruise on his side.

However Mark has noticed,

“I don’t see Dylan coming back any time soon,” is Garry’s dismissive reply, and Cassie cannot understand how he could leave such a gorgeous child. “Perhaps he had no choice,” says Garry.

“Everyone has a choice, haven’t they?” comments Cassie, and at that moment Tyler come in. Garry asks him if everything is all right, and if he did what was needed.

Garry is more interested whether he got the delivery and took it where he was instructed.

“I could have been killed!” Tyler says, and is told to keep his voice down. He confirmed that he did take the delivery where he was told; “Everything was fine until I went into the van – and this bloke came from nowhere, dragged me out and kicked me.

“I found something on the floor – a brick – and I hit him!”

"Was he still moving?" |
He is asked whether the man was moving when he left, and confirms that he got up, but did not follow Tyler.
“If he’s still alive, we are fine,” is Garry’s evaluation,

“Tyler, you did well – it’s nearly over.” Cassie protests that she has work to do, so Garry goes to relieve her of Gabriel.

Colin is at Maes-y-Deri, where he warns Mark, “If I do this, do you promise that you will get rid of the stuff once and for all?” Mark is confident that if they stick to the plan, everything will be all right.

Kath has been loading the photographs from her cruise on the laptop; “I don’t understand why you’re so keen, Mark,” she says, “You didn’t show much interest when we went on our last cruise.”

“Col was asking, because it was thinking about going on a cruise,” Mark informs her,

Colin points out that his father was a sailor for decades and suspects that the sea is in his blood.

Then he jokingly asks, “Where’s Brynmor, then? Lost at sea?”

and she demands whether they want to see the photographs or not.

“I hope you don’t have any plans, because there are 650 photos in all,” she adds.

Colin would like to use the toilet, but encourages them to get with the photos, or they will not finish until the end of next week.

“But whose garage am I in?” Dylan demands, and Garry maintains that he should have finished things. “But that’s not who you are,” is the response.

But the voice from below enquires, “Does she know I’m here? We shouldn’t have to suffer because of her.”

Garry come to the conclusion that they cannot all win,

but Dylan comments, “If I die, we all lose – the truth will never come out.”

Garry wants to know what truth this is; he is emphatically told, “Gwyneth killed Jaclyn!” which he again regards as nonsense.

“I can prove it,” Dylan goes on, “Check the date she left prison – Gwyneth killed Jaclyn – trust me, please – it’s the only option you’ve got.”

Then there is a knock on the door of the garage, and Gwyneth’s voice shouts for Garry.

He comes out of the door of the ‘Dairy’, carefully shutting it behind him; Gwyneth wants to know why he is not answering his phone, and he answers that he has been busy.

“I want to see Gwern tonight,” she tells him, and he wants to know all the details. “I just want to check he’s OK after everything,” she says,

“Stop worrying – everything’s over,” she assures him,

but he emphasises that is not the case for all of them.

Mark is trying to hide his extreme boredom as his mother continues, “Here we are in the executive lounge – that was the night when we had Lobster Thermidor – I prefer fish and chips.”

Then a bang can be heard from upstairs, and she tells Mark to check that everything is all right. “There’s no need – it’s only Col,” he replies, and she says that he has been up there a long time.

Back in the garage again, where the cover has been left off the inspection pit, Garry calls Dylan’s name;

“Give me a couple of days to sort things out,” he says, but does not get any sort of response.

Garry appears very worried.

but he is told that she does not want to see him.

Iolo makes it very clear, “You won’t see her until you stop what you’re doing!”
Tyler thought that he understood, but Iolo continues, “You said that these jobs were easy – but they’re not easy, are they? You’re getting injured! What’s the point in having number 7 if you’re going to get killed?”
