Then Sioned comes in, telling Howard that he came over last night to collect his stuff and fell asleep.
“Did you talk to him and sort things out at last?” Howard wants to know,

but she insists that it is not as easy as that, so he advises her to try harder, as whatever is going on is affecting everyone.
She promises that she is trying;

Howard will now go, as he informs her “Someone needs to open up while he gets his beauty sleep.”

Sioned goes to Mathew’s side and attempts to wake him, pointing out that he fell asleep.

In the Deri, Kath is looking at a letter and informs Cassie that it is from the court to say that they have received the paperwork to start divorce proceedings.

“There we are – you can move on with your life now,” says Cassie, “And then it will be watch out – Kath Jones is back!”

| Where has she been, then?" |
Ieuan has just come in and wonders where Kath has been;

she enlightens him that the divorce proceedings for her and Brynmor have started.

| "I wanted to celebrate when I divorced Hazel" |
He recalls that he wanted to celebrate when he divorced Hazel and Cassie felt the same way when she divorced Teg.

| "You weren't divorced from Ted before moving on" |
“If I remember, you weren’t divorced from Teg before moving on,” Ieuan observes.

| "You were a saint with Hazel, weren't you?" |
She snarls in return, “You were a saint with Hazel, weren’t you?”

Kath joins in, “You men are all the same!” Ieuan had not heard that Brynmor was having an affair, bur Cassie believe that he has already moved on, as they saw him on a date.

| "Who's the lucky woman, then?" |
Of course, Ieuan wants to know who was the lucky woman, but Cassie goes to make him his coffee.

| "Me and Brynmor? As if!" |
At the food van, Kelly exclaims, “Me and Brynmor? As if!”

| "A room for two after lunch?" |
Rhys has heard that she was on a date in the Glyndwr and suggests that they may have booked a room for two after lunch.

“We just bumped into each other, that’s all,” she continues, but that is not what Rhys heard.

| "Who's been gossiping?" |
Now Kelly is angry and demands who has been gossiping, as he is not the first to mention it. Rhys imagines that he will not be the last, either, as Ieuan is approaching.

| "Is it true you went out with Brynmor?" |
“Is it true that you went out with Brynmor?” Kelly simply sighs, while Rhys, maintains that it is true – it was a hot date and a honeymoon suite – before walking off, laughing.

“He’s old enough to be your grandfather – or great-grandfather,” Ieuan goes on, “What do you see in him? He’s not divorced from Kath yet.”

This is the last straw; “For God’s sake, there’s nothing going on between me and Brynmor, all right?” Kelly shrieks, so Ieuan walks away.

Sioned has gone to Ceffyl Du to speak to Rhys; “I don’t know what to do!” Rhys replies that Matthew has to deal with this in his own way. “But he isn’t dealing with it,” she protests.

| "I may have to, Rhys" |
She answers that she has not yet, but may have to. She is sure that there must be something that they can do, suggesting contacting his mother to ask her to have a word with Mathew.

“She’s the last person he would talk to – you can’t contact Melfa – that would make things worse,” Rhys tells her,

He agrees that he will, but not there –

At APD, Mathew comes in and Ieuan comments that he thought they would have to send out a search party.

Ieuan welcomes this latest piece of gossip, that Sioned has kicked him out of bed, then realises that this was a mistake.

“We didn’t meet – he had a business meeting and so did I, all right? We just, you know, bumped into each other.”

“I was dolled up because I had a business meeting at the Glyndwr!” Kelly exclaims, “It was nothing to do with Brynmor, but he was there when I came out – and do you know what? To be totally honest, Kath, he looked really lonely and that’s why I sat with him, because I felt sorry for him.”

Mathew is putting two and two together, as Howard adds that Griffiths saw them in Ceffyl Du this morning, snooping around. Ieuan enquires whether that was why he was on the sofa this morning.
