Mark has brought home Dani from the hospital and she tells him not to make so much noise as the baby is asleep; he will take up the bags to the flat and then sort out the car seat. She takes a deep breath and gets out of the car.

Meanwhile Garry is closing the shutter on the garage as Ieuan Griffiths remarks, “It’s perfect for Jinx – he needs space to make the statue and have some peace to work.”

Garry is just anxious that he leaves the place as he found it. “I’ll have a word with Gwenda in finance about covering your costs,” Griffiths goes on, and Garry will send him the bill.

Then Garry notices Dani getting out of the car with her baby;

he immediately walks over to her and welcomes her home. She confirms that everything is fine

and he admires the little fellow. Dani refuses any help from him, so he walks away.

Dani then notices something in the car which fell from Mark’s pocket – a small, blue notebook,

At Bryntirion, Anita calls to Kelly that she is making a cup of tea; “Everything all right with you?” she asks, “I haven’t seen you this week.”

Kelly explains that she has to meet a deadline,

"You've been seeing so much of Mickey" |
and her aunt continues, “Well, you haven’t had a lot of time to work this week, because you’ve been seeing so much of Mickey.”
“Yeah, well, he’s been amazing in helping me set up this toy bank,” Kelly replies, and Anita reminds her that she was particularly asked not to get in touch with him.

Now people are talking about her, which Anita maintains is not fair on Jason.

“You what? Are you all right? You think I’m cheating on Jason?” shrieks Kelly, and Anita once again instructs her to keep away from Mickey; if there is nothing going on that is something which will not be difficult.

“You’ve lost the plot, like!” Kelly exclaims, and Anita angrily insists yet again that she should keep away from Mickey. Kelly walks incredulously out of the room.

Rhys encounters Tyler out in the street; “I don’t have time for this!” Rhys snarls, “I need to make videos on window cleaning or plumbing.”

Tyler points out that he does not ‘own’ exercise,

but Rhys counters with, “But I know how to do it properly – your videos are dangerous – you can’t even squat properly!”

Tyler of course does not agree with this, so Rhys challenges him, “Start squatting and I’ll show you where you’re going wrong. You don’t mind doing it online, even though you’re doing it wrong.”

Ffion smiles wryly, and has already noticed that Jinx has been talking to Wilko outside the Deri; she cannot help gravitating in that direction.

On the table in the Deri flat are several gift bags; Dani comes in with the baby and Aled welcomes her; Mark tells him to be quiet as the baby is sleeping.

Mark’s face falls as she goes on, “Amazingly, you guessed the names on my list – Hendrix, Tommy, Caleb.” Aled is infuriated that he has been taking bets on the baby’s name, and Dani adds, “Listen to this – loads of people bet on Tommy, loads on Hendrix, but only Mark bet on Caleb!

He maintains that it was just a bit of fun and that the money was for charity; “I’m trying not to shout here, Mark,” she says, and he thinks it might be a good idea if he left pretty quickly.

The shutter door of the garage is coming down again, this time operated by Jinx, and he is asked by Griffiths if that will be enough space. Jinx has already made a start but wants to keep out prying eyes.
