Garry says that there is no hurry, but she warns that he does not want anyone else telling them; “You know how people talk – they’re bound to find out.” He stresses that he will talk to Dani, and she maintains that the sooner he does this, the better.

Upstairs in the flat, Tyler is watching the television when Garry comes in, commenting, “Oh, you’re still here.”

Gwyneth returns to number 9, and finds that Tesni has a large box which has been delivered; she assures Gwyneth that it will be not be there long,

and will not explain what it is. There is a knock at the door, and Tesni had been under the impression that Gwyneth was going to Carmarthen;

she had to come back to collect her phone.
Rhys reports that Mathew is busy and cannot come, but is quite confident that they can manage without him. Gwyneth leaves for Carmarthen.
