Tesni replies that she called to say that they have released her Mam’s body, and she groans there are so many things to organise. “I’m more than happy to help,” Gwyneth tells her, “But you need to contact an undertaker –

Tesni is pleased to accept the offer.

Mark is 'caught short' on his round |
In the Deri, Mark suddenly rushes in, explaining that he has to use the toilet, and Cassie warns him to be careful, as she has just mopped the floor.

Now she needs to go to the cellar to get some crisps, and asks Britt to look after the bar.

"You can have a lie-in this morning . . ." |
Britt immediately gets out her phone and calls Eifion; “I’ve got some good news – you can have a lie-in this morning –

She puts a bottle of champagne on the bar |
While she is speaking, she takes from the cupboard underneath the till a bottle of champagne, which she places on the bar. Mark returns from the toilet

and comments, “I wouldn’t leave that that there if I were you – someone will have nabbed it before you turn around.”
She explains that is the point; “Someone’s been stealing, so I’m setting a trap.” He wonders what they have been stealing,

and she laughs, “Gold bars! What do you think people steal from a pub?”
“Well, good luck, Sherlock,” he says, as he leaves on his round,

and she asks if he fancies coming to a paranormal night tonight, as she is restarting it all. He regrets that he is busy tonight, but she promises that it will be a special night – she has arranged a big surprise for everyone.

“I have to go somewhere first, but if I’m back in time, we’ll see,” he replies. Cassie returns with the box of crisps

At number 9, Gwyneth is speaking to the undertaker and informs Tesni that someone will pick up the body today; then she can talk to them about the details of the funeral when she is ready.

Tesni is very grateful and wonders if Gwyneth has had to organise a funeral before.
“My mother’s – it was a while ago, but it was difficult.

"What kind of funeral would your Mam have wanted?" |
“Have you thought about what kind of funeral she would have wanted?” asks Gwyneth, but Tesni has no idea, and cannot remember her mother ever talking about it. She is advised to keep it simple, and not to think she has to spend a huge amount of money.
“I’ll help as much as I can,” Gwyneth reassures her, “And you’ve got Dylan.”

Tyler comes out of the bookshop, and Siôn calls him back, as he has forgotten his credit card; Siôn is sure that the book which Tyler has bought will be loved by Greta, and he comments that the pictures are great.

At number 10, Anita did not know that Gwyneth understood things like ‘feng shui’, but is told that it is the same principle as ‘reiki’.

“You’re aiming to release healthy energy – what we’re doing it now is trying to create positivity in the room.”

Anita looks sceptical; “Just by moving the furniture?” Gwyneth maintains that she will be surprised by the difference it will make, and Anita agrees that is what they want – a bit of healthy energy.

Then Anita hears the sound of a gentle tapping which appears to come from upstairs;

“There,” she says, pointing upwards, “Since I moved back here, I’ve been hearing this noise,” but Gwyneth dismisses it as simply the wind.

“I go cold every time I hear it,” Anita continues, “There’s something here – some presence.” As she looks at Gwyneth, she realises, “Sorry, I think I’m going mad,” but is told that she is a sensitive woman, which is why she can feel the negative energy.
“But you don’t need to be frightened of it – we’ll sort it,” Gwyneth confidently asserts,

“I can’t stand it at Y Felin for much longer!” Cai growls, and Rhys laughs that some people would love to have Siôn tidying up after them.

Rhys declines the offer of another pint, remarking that some people have to work, but they will meet for a pint tonight.

As they leave the Deri, Britt, who is clearing the tables, suddenly notices that the bottle of champagne is no longer on the bar.

Cassie does not know what she is talking about, so she explains, “The bottle of champagne – it was an expensive one, too!”

She is asked what an expensive bottle of champagne was doing on the bar.

“Bait – to prove that Eifion isn’t the thief. Has he been in? This is proof – Eifion isn’t the thief.”

Cassie asks her who is the thief, then, and Britt’s demeanour indicates that she suspects it was Cassie.

Mark carries a couple of pints to where a bearded man is sitting outside; “Listen, your sister doesn’t know I’m here,” Mark begins,

“And, as a friend, I’m worried about her. There is no easy way to say this, but you as a family haven’t treated her very kindly.”

The man is infuriated by this suggestion,

and Mark continues, “I don’t understand why you would turn your back on her.”
“Are you serious, mate?” the man demands, and Mark ploughs on, pointing out that she is coping well with things now, but she has had some tough times, and it is love that she needs now, not her family turning their back because she is HIV-positive.

“Yes, because someone was stupid enough to put it under the nose of every Tom, Dick and Harry!” she is reminded, “I expect you to pay for it, too!”

Dani comes downstairs to investigate this shouting; “She’s accusing me of stealing!” exclaims Cassie.

Dani, who has been followed by Tyler, enquires if Britt has proof of this. She is told that only the two of them were there;

Cassie points out that Rhys and Cai were also on the premises, so Dani suggests that perhaps they took it,

Britt simply grins at him.

Mark continues his explanation, “So it doesn’t affect her at all really, as long as she takes these tablets.” Alexander does not know what to say, and Mark is surprised that she has not said anything.

It got too much for Andrea, so the first chance she got, off she went. We haven’t seen her since! She didn’t even get in touch to see how we were – or how Mam was.”

That evening in the Deri, Cai brings over a couple of pints, just as Tegwen comes in;
